John graduated in 2019 from the University of Alberta with a degree in Crop Science. He has joined our team to service north-central Alberta. Although originally from Edmonton, as a kid John spent many summers on his family’s old dairy farm in the Okanagan. While completing his education at the U of A, he worked with canola breeders and contributed to research investigations on clubroot resistance. He also worked in the labs and greenhouses at the university during the summer. John likes to travel, play winter sports, and enjoys learning how to best help Western Canadian farmers. In regard to his favourite aspect of his job, John says, “I love the opportunity to see the prairies, learn about our clients’ approaches to farming and what we can do to support their operation.”
