Expert Witness

An expert witness may be required in matters that the judge is not an expert on. The witness must be a professional agrologist in good standing and have experience and credibility to back-up this designation.

An expert witness is not an advocate. In other words the agrologist must act as an independent, third-party, witness who has no conflict of interest with the parties that are involved in the legal process.

CropPro Consulting Acts as an Independent, Third-Party, Expert Witness

If you hire an advocate, they may not be accepted by the court as an expert witness. An advocate is hired to work for you to get the best settlement possible. They are essentially a "hired gun". Often this may sound great as the value of your claim is increased considerably over what the real damages are. Sometimes it works out, others it doesn't. If a report makes incorrect agronomic assessments or the damages claimed were not collected with integrity,
the entire case may be thrown out.

An expert witness investigates the claim without any bias towards the parties involved. All information is documented fairly and honestly. Regardless of which party did the hiring, an expert witness should actually file the same report. If you want to insure your information is accepted in court, consider the services of an expert witness. It may not provide you with a windfall claim, but it will provide you with the security that you have the best opportunity to get what you deserve.

Consider CropPro if you require an expert witness.
